|

Hi
I have just bought and installed TTN6 on a HTC TYTN running WM6.
tomtom loaded fine, but I wanted to keep using my wired tomtom GPS, so a bought a Brodit car holder with a splitter to power both the receiver and the TYTN.
The trouble is I only ever get the message "no gps device". Does anybody know which program/hardware ports I need to select in the WM6 external gps program ?. I am assuming this is the problem of cause.
Cheers |

Welcome to the forum, you cannot use a wired GPS with that type of PDA Phone as it doesn't have a com port the only way forward is to use a Bluetooth GPS - Mike |

If you get a BT GPS with a mini USB socket for charging you can use the car charger lead that you use with the Tytn, I would go for one with 30 Hours battery life though, so in car charging isn't that important, check out the iBlue units - Mike |
