Hi has anyone got one of these they seem to be french and sold by pixmania they have a 400 processer and SIRf111, 3.6 screen,with europe mapping for £120 are they any good. they use Navteq. thanks

Hello and welcome to the forums.

I had a look a couple of days and again today but i can't find any independent reviews.

However Pixmania specialise in importing goods from other countries on what's called the Grey market.

One thing i noted from the Pixmania website is

Downloadable manual (1 download available in a language of your choice after purchase ): French


and all the free Speed Camera databases are for France only. I can't see that it allows the upload of custom POIs including the Speed Camera Database from here.

In the past i have only bought one thing from Pixmania which was a printer. It came with a European plug and a Europe to UK plug adaptor and I've never had any problems with it at all.
