Myguide 3100 power lead

Could anybody advise me where I can get an extension lead for the car charger for the myguide 3100.

Or advise the size of the socket ,as I bought a 2.5mm DC extension lead but it is too big to fit into the power socket on the sat nav.

What people normally do is get an extension lead for the cigarette lighter socket: either one that you just plug in or something you can wire in permanently to the feed to the socket. Then you plug the normal adapter into that and hide it all behind the dash.

Finding extensions to lengthen the DC plug end is much harder as there are so many slightly different sizes of the plugs (both overall diameter and diameter of the centre pin).
