tomtom help needed

Got a medion mdppc250 pda with royal tek gps reciever.Ive installed tomtom 5 on it but cant pick up a signal.The settings are nmea,baud rate 4800 and com1.The blue and yellow circle is spinning but nothing happening.I did get a signal for about 20mins yesterday but cant get it to pick up the signal again.

Any ideas on whats wrong.
