Hi
I am running TTN6 on an HP ipaq. I get the speed limit of the road I am travelling next to my speed , which turns red when I exceed the speed limit and flashes...great improvement on TTN5. But is it possible to get a warning sound or a voice warning ? in a similar manner to the speed cameras?

Thanks.

This is not possible with version 6 software, all you can put up with is the red speed reading or flashing (if too fast) - the new TomTom x20 devices do have a sound alert, whether we ever see a version 7 software for the PDA with this feature is unknown though - Mike

It would drive you mad anyway because the embedded speed data is often wrong. e.g. cases of one side of dual set to 70 and the other to 30, when in fact both are 70.

The actual way the audio warning is performed within the vs7 device is very good, once "speeding" you get a few sounds (Polite 2 IIRC) before it shuts up and carry’s on playing music/ giving directions so its not a continual nagging, you do have the option to disable the audio over speed warning should you so wish - Mike
