Post Code but not City ?

There must be a simple answer to this but when I start to type in a "City"it gets to about the third letter the list below goes grey & when fully typed it does not show anything but if I type in a post code no problem.

go to navigate to - address-then typr in the city box.Using tom tom 5

Oh and its is any city.The only thing I have done recentley is to follow the advice given on the forum to make the post codes work by putting an empty folder into the pda.

The City Names are Hard Coded into one of the DAT Files that come with the Map. This would suggest that there is a corrupt file.

Does the same happen if you use the Find function in Browse Map?
