Is it just a matter of me calling Garmin and them sorting it or should i take it back to where i got it ? Sorry if this has been asked b4, im not very good at all this downloading stuff. i did read the warning but i still got it wrong DOH

I believe some others did manage to get the file to fix their Nuvi. Garmin support should be able to send you a fix for this as it's a limitation on the hardware that's not been addressed.

Try them again. If you have no luck let us know.

It may have been but some people don't always update their firmware / software because they don't know to do so, or that you can / should do it.

Still, the POI limit should have been found by Garmin before release and the software should have been coded to do something about it.

The latest Nuvi 3xx firmwares have apparently fixed this problem, but there is not yet an updated 6xx firmware to fix the problem (or Garmin have not including it in the release notes).
