We all know that for some reason POST Code routing does not work in the UK with TTN2.

Does anybody know of UK PostCode routing software that works in conjunction with the TTN2.

I have all the latest downloads and running an HP2210.

Thanks for your help

If it helps I came across this while browsing on Ebay, someone has created POI files of UK postcodes, I mailed the seller to ask if it was full UK postcode coverage and was told it is.

Maybe for a tenner it would be worth giving it a go!!!

I would also be interested in knowing if it works as well. To the best of my knowledge there are one and half million postcodes in the UK if that can be put on a 12mb file along with latitude and longitude, great.

There is also a limit on the number of POI's that the Ipaq can handle which is 20. There is a programme called code search which is free which works much the same way but its not possible to have it on the ipaq because the programme is to large however, if you know the address before you start the journey you can put in the post code which then gives the latitude and longitude and you then transfer the info to the Ipaq.

I would be really interested in having something which works on the Ipaq instead of having to transfer it when you have the postcode.

Where does this come from, I have thousands of POI installed?

There is a default seeting in TomTom of 20 POI to be displayed on the screen at any one time so the screen is not totally cluttered.

Ahem, why don't you all use Codesearch ? It's free and available here! Just look/search for "Code Search" on that page.

Dave,

I downloaded the south central POI file which had all of the RG codes, I live in Reading, when I installed the file there was only a few RG postcodes in there, I don't know if I was doing anything wrong. Maybe I will have another go.
