Newbie Question

Hi.
I just got my shiny new Garmin 610T today. So far so good.
I tried it out by driving down to my local petrol station, but it recognises my local "Tesco's" petrol station as a "BP" petrol station.
I know that it changed ages ago, so I wonder if I've got the latest map or if there is an update I can install?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Are these POIs that were preloaded onto your Garmin? If so, you can download all sorts of POIs from http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=POIs. Most of these will be more up-to-date than the pre-loaded ones.

If, however, I misunderstood, and you got the POIs from this site in the first place, then please help everyone and update the database by entering the revised details at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=POIs&ShowSubmit.
