Showing POI icons on the map screen

Hi!

I've managed to get my head round how POI's work and how to load them onto my Garmin Nuvi 310 thanks to all the helpful people on the forum!

I wondered, is it possible to get the icons that each POI has to show up on the map screen as you are driving like they do on a TomTom?

If I choose to navigate to a POI and select the show map option, I get the icon then but i figured it would be really useful to see POis that I'm passing by without having to go into the menus.

Afraid not.
