I have an ipaq 3660 and am running Tomtom Nav 5 with a 1gb cf card through a Silver Slider cf pack.
When the Tomtom is installed and I have used it for a while, I switch off the ipaq, switch it back on and get the message "Unknown storage card installed, please enter the name of the card driver".
Any ideas? Sad

I get this if I use my 305III in my AXIM X51v. I just ignore it - close the popup and carry on - it seems to work. Seems to be an operating system dependent thing. I wonder if it has something to do with the on-baord SD card reader in the 305 not being recognised by WM5. HAICOM told me that the 305 isn't supported on WM5 - which is OK as I use a BT GPS unit for most of the time.

dont you think the lack of interest in the developers is just poor as mobile 6 is now on sale and they still dont supply drivers for ver 5. Evil or Very Mad

What is the point of having a cf slot in these products if you have to use outdated versions of hardware / software and not newer products. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

I want to use my sd slot in the gps, as that was the big selling point for me. it works fine in my old hp2210 with tt5 running on the sd card in the gps (305iii) instant recognition of unit and sd card. leaving the onboard sd card free for other stuff. Evil or Very Mad

I cannot belive that the axim x51 which is a newer product cannot compete on function with my old hp2210. running 2003. Evil or Very Mad

Forward not backward should be the direction of developerment.
