text messages via tt 520 & samsung sgh e250

hi all i've got my phone talking to my TT510 hands free calling etc, weather updates etc basically everything it should do except my tt will not display or read any text messages to me

Ive got all the latest updates etc
still no luck any ideas pease what am i missing if anything

also i did ask earlier on behalf of my dad but now I need to know can you change the name that the TT gives out over the bluetooth connection from TomTom GO to something else less obvious

Have you looked at the phone compatibility list at http://www.tomtom.com/phones/??

It doesn't list the SGH E250 at all, but it says all the other Samsung models in the "E" range, are OK for hands-free and "Plus" only, not sending or feceiving texts, I'm afraid.
