Does anyone know if any variety of speed cam (apart from the flashing Gatso) works in the dark. |

Those that don't emitt a visible flash use infra red flash/ illumination which you cannot see without night vision equipment, only the mobile units don't work well in the dark, funny thing is you don't see many mobiles out in the dark - Mike |

Truvelo and Spec's cameras work in the dark, mobiles don't (at present).
Most of the mobiles are sited in areas which could be borderline safe in the daylight so they would be hard to place at night.
Spec's cameras are probably the ones to watch, as they are often in unlit areas, badly signed as hidden in roadworks and once you go past the first too fast, it is difficult to judge leaving the second camera in the calculated time - all this to worry about in the dark. _________________ TomTom Go 60
