Tomtom Go 910 battery not charging

Hi - Does anyone know why my TomTom Go 910 wouldn't charge up correctly?
I have tried both in the car and using the mains charger.
When I try and use the 910, it sometimes goes on and off 5 or 6 times, and then is OK.

have you recently upgraded software? i had similar prob with a tomtom ONE that stopped charging on the car charger after an upgrade.
actually solved it because my car charger was a non tomtom unit and delivered less amps than was needed.
changed back to original tomtom charger and all was then ok.
not sure if this helps you but may help others with a similar problem.

Yes, I did a software upgrade recently, but the chargers are standard.
So I'm not if that is an issue.
