510 auto switch on/off

Hi
Just upgraded my 500 for a 510, the 500 used to switch on and off with the power to the cigarette lighter socket, ie leave it plugged in all the time and it switched the 500 on when you started the car and then off when you switched off...

The 510 will switch on when powered by the cigarette lighter socket but then it stays on and won't switch off when you turn the engine off, the green charge light goes out and the 510 stays on.

Is there some way of making it switch off when the power to it is cut?

That's the way the software works now.

However, have a look at the discussion HERE.

It works exactly the same for all the x10 Devices.
