Hi.
I'm wondering if anybody knows if it is doable to modify a BR305 into working with the TomTom Carkit. I think it usually takes a leadtech with rj11 plug straight into the cradle and I would like to do this with the BR305.

Sure, not a problem if you know what a soldering iron is. black is ground, red is power, green and white are RxD and TxD (swap them if it doesn't work at the first time). _________________ Lutz

The wire colors should tell the story, shouldn't they? ground and power are on the outside, data on the inside pairs. You'll have to peek at the other receiver or take a measuring instrument to find the +5V pin. _________________ Lutz
