Garmin POI loader

I have finally got my Nuvi 255WT up and running and the POI loader fully installed............

As it doesn't start automatically I have opened it and downloaded the database (Speed Camera EUR Consol) into downloads.

I go through the on screen instructions and get to the 'Please select the directory where the data can be found'. I pressed for browse and selected the database that was downloaded previously. Noting that it is in feet and MPH and Express (same thing happens on Manual).

When I press next it reads 'The path name you have entered is not a directory, please specify the directory where your POI files are located'

Hmmmmmmmmmmm????????

You must unzip the files first.

Read the section titled: Extracting the Database on the PC

Also if you are using the EURopean database it must be loaded in KPH not MPH. Set it to MPH if using the UK database.
