I DISCOVERED AT LEAST 30 CAMERAS BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO ENTER

I was away in Europe for a month this summer. I have Navman N20 all loaded up with Pocketgps world POI. I must have found way over 30 cameras and tried from a laptop to key these onto the website but without success. I gave up in the end.

However, who knows next year might do the same. So here is what I do not understand.

1. Identification of cameras. In Europe gatso cameras must be different. I cannot identify any of the European cameras from your pictures. Would it not be a good idea to include European cameras for ease of identification.?
Countries I visited include France, Switzerland, Italy.

Cameras tend to be forward facing but with some it is impossible to determine if they are capturing front or back and which side of the dual carriageway. Others are forward facing and designed low down near the ground. Others are on overhead gantries.

2. Location. When I find a camera I have to tap the screen for current position. This is not so accurate. But the data I get is like

50= 56' 40.8" N
1= 49' 32.5" E

Now how do I interpret these. I thought there was just degrees and minutes, so from the first I would assume 50 degree 56 minutes but what then is 40.8" N?

How do I convert these into a format acceptable to the "Submit camera information" pages?
