|
|
Hi,
I am running Tomtom 6 on an Ipaq Hx2490. I have enabled the necessary POIs and installed the camera files from this site. I can see the files in the GB map file but they do not appear on maps. None of the other POIs work either such as airports or ferries. Any ideas please.
Thanks, Pete |

You say none of the the other POIs work. How many have you installed, in total?
The POIs that you have Enabled, do they appear on the Map?
Are you talking about the built-in POIs or Custom POIs?
You sometimes have to zoom in quite close to see them in Browse Map.
Can you Navigate to .... one of the POIs?
You haven't given a great deal in the way of information, so I'm only guessing. _________________ Richard

Thanks for responding. The only POIs I have are the built in ones. I have enabled 10. None of them appear on the maps even when I zoom in. When I tried navigating to one of them it worked fine but still no sign of the POI on the map.

Have you selected them (both individually and 'all POIs') for viewing on the Browse Map pages? The list of individual 'enables' usually interacts with the 'enable' list on the preferences menu, but the tickbox to enable the view of 'all POIs' is only on the browse map page.
Find it at: Main Menu / Browse Map / Options. this is where you need a tick beside "Points of Interest" to see any of them on screen.
Then the "POI" button at the bottom of the same screen takes you to the list to enable individual categories. |
