Medion/Aldi Bundle on sale 13 May 2004

This is my last post about this. It is up to you if you decide to ignore my advice.

Since purchasing my PPC 200 in December 2003 I have had very poor after sales service from Medion. My PPC 200 still does not synch without having to reset it before syncing. This is irelevant of whether its IR or USB.
I have had no support from Medion. My calls are escalated but never returned. My emails are never responded to. In January Medion had a go at resolving this issue but even getting a reworked unit was like extracting blood from a stone. Eight weeks is what it took to return the unit.
£270 seems a good price but just remember you do get what you pay for. If your lucky to get a unit that has no faults good luck to you. If you buy one of these and it develops a fault then expect poor service, hassle and headache.
If Medion wish to settle this by simply sending a brand new unit to my address with a full appology and recompense for all the hassle then I look forward to recieving the new model. If not then I'll see you in court! :x

I thought I'd better give an update.
medion failed to respond. Doh!
Aldi did though and refunded the unit and reserved a repalcement for me as the unit had been re offered. The new PPC250 is bril :D with no sync problems whatsoever. My colleagues have seen the unit work and now they all want one. Pleased to say also that Medion support is now much better. calls answered within a couple of minutes. Seems like they have been working hard to improve that side. It seems like they may just come out on top of the after sales league after all. Also they now have a team of people who seem to know a little about the products too.
credit where credits due. Well done Medion for learning the lessons and sorting the after sales support and well done Aldi for your help! :D
