Hi everyone, newbie to this site.
I have rec'd a couple of onscreen messages regarding latest map info from Garmin, didn't have time to read it at the time thinking I could just go to Garmin website & download latest software this is for mapping I presume.
Any help greatfully rec'd |

Hi if im right the message states that the map software is now out of date and you will need to apply to garmin direct for an update disc.
This is a common flaw with the I3 anyone buing the unit before september 06 will get the update free, but after that you will need to pay £50ish... i know this cos i work in retail selling these things and by the way, the I3 is now discontinued according to sources at garmin...new units are coming soon |

Well, I hope you get your facts right when you're speaking to your customers! I think you'll find that you get the v9 mapping free if you purchased the unit on or after 1 September 2006, and have to pay if you bought it before then.
