Hi Folks!.
Connected 510 to update it.Now it just displays a navman splash screen.
Microsoft active synch calls me a guest.Have tried backup and restore onto device but it says it can't restore a number of files.Somehow they have gone in the update process.Reset does nothing. Not even getting a usb transfer visual on the display.Navman support does not appear to support!

I believe if I could get a full file set to load back onto the unit it may work again

Can anyone help. Thanks

Hi
Yes I can.
1.Have you switched the unit off then back on after a few seconds? Using the switch on the back. You will lose anything that you have set up?
2.If it did not work. Use the manual it can be found under tool on desktop software. Go to page 84 halfway down page “Remove software from iCN”, follow it then read on and reinstall software.
3.I hope you are the registered user of this unit as you will have to get your registration back from Navman website.
4.This can be found under tools on desktop software.
5.Then get the service updates etc.
Don’t panic, Hope this helps?
Regards

Many thanks DRP.
Unfortunately the device/desktop is not allowing me to delete anyfiles as it says access denied/sharing violation etc.The active synch is still on guest and I can,t set up another partnership.
Believe the Icn must be faulty. Is it worth repairing?
Thanks again
