sorry if it has been covered already my mate has one of those cheap i3 things now it say that the map is out of date how can he get rid of this prompt with out playing base ball with it?? also he says it has lost accuracy please help thanks adam....

Yes, this is well documented on the forum and it would have been quicker to do a search, but tell your mate that he should first back up his favourites using EasyGPS, then perform a hard reset then reload his favourites.
