Can anyone tell me if there is a poi warner that will work with Navigator 5.
I have a Medion MDPNA 175 with Navigator 5 . I have spoken to Navigating.de and they tell me that their poi warner will not work with this version of Navigator. I am desperate to install the speed camera databse, please help : |

I upgraded my medion ppc 200 to navigon 5 and had to download a free upgrade from navigating de to enable poi warner to run with the upgrade.

This is the reply i got from navigating.de
Dear Sir,
we support only Medion-Navigator 5.1 and higher as stated in the system-requirements on our website.
Please contact Medion to ask for an update to Medion-Navigator 5.1. With this version it will work with POI-Warner!

Crimbo,
having thought about it there was an offer on navigon's site to upgrade to navigon 5 by returning any other makers GPS maps. I returned the medion maps which came with my Medion PPC200 and got V5. I read somewher, I think it was on this forum that there was a free upgrade to v5.1. I have found the link which is

the upgrade is at the bottom right of the page. I have installed the upgrade and updated POI warner

| If you only want the safety camera database to work with TTN5, then you dont need Poi Warner. You can install the database into the TTN5 map folder and select it as a poi in prefs. I have a Medion PPC250 running TTN5 and the Pocketgps safety camera database with no problems at all. You can find further information in the Safety Camera section of this website. |

Cannot find a relevant download here now. I have the Medion registry patch installed, which worked with the original software but the PDA still keeps freezing with Navigon 5.2.6 (for win 2003) and POI Warner installed. Anyone know how to fix this please? |
