Usefulness of Garmin Travel Guide

Hi,
Just bought the Travel Guide SD card for my Nuvi 310. Bit of an impulse buy!

I was wondering what other people's experiences have been with this? As far as I can see it pretty much does what the POI database download does that you can get from this site i.e. locations grouped by category and directions.
I appreciate it offers this in 4 languages but is there anything else ?

from memory, the travel guide gives you spoken information about certain POIs as well as a 'dictionary' for common phrases etc etc

I love my Nuvi; but, I really wish I hadn't bought the Fodor's Guide.

A book would have been more utilitarian.
