add voice to safety cameras

I have a 910 with safety cameras pre-installed,i wish to add voice warnings to alert when near. I have looked at poi to add voice to warnings but no cameras are listed in the poi. Please can anyone advise me if there is a way around this

If you are referring to the Speed Camera database that is supplied with the device you cannot add spoken alerts to these as the device no longer treats them as true POI. This has the advantage of not consuming any of the 100 custom POI categories you can use, with the obvious disadvantage's that prevent customisation of warnings etc.

The simple answer is to remove them and install the Speed cameras from this site which can be configured by a variety of methods, also there are a number of guides already created to help you through this process, start HERE - Mike
