I have a TomTom One v2 Europe, which has NavTeq maps, and when I bought it, I was pleased to discover that a number of mapping errors in my TT5 TeleAtlas map, which I had reported to TeleAtlas over 18 months ago, were not present in the NavTeq version.
I recently copied TomTom across to a 2 GB SD card (problems with this described in another thread) and was surprised, the first time I connected with the 2 GB card to TomTom Home, to be offered a download of the TeleAtlas Great Britain Plus map (200 MB). As I now had room on the card I decided to accept, so installed the new map. The device now recognises my original NavTeq Western Europe map v652.1185 and the new TeleAtlas Great Britain Plus v632.0 However, I was disappointed to find that on the TeleAtlas map, downloaded today, there were still the same errors as I had reported to them in about July 2005. Needless to say, I will stick with the NavTeq Western Europe map when navigating in UK.

That TA 632 map is nowhere near their latest.

Good point. There was no charge. It simply appeared on the list of available downloads when I plugged in to TomTom Home, having installed a 2GB SD card. Presumably it did not appear before as there was no room on the original 1GB card which came with the machine

I have just realised why the GB Plus map appeared as a download when I connected my TT1 to TomTom Home. Prior to buying TT1 I used TomTom on a PDA and last spring bought the latest GB Plus map as a download for my TTN5. That must still have been available for download and TT Home found it when I logged on. The only thing which baffles me is that a map which I originally bought for TTN5 works with TT6, which I have in my One
