Medion MDPPC250 and TomTom

Sorry if this isn't the right forum or if this has been covered before (tried a search but too much to go through).

I have the Medion MDPPC250 which I managed to install TomTom on and it works a treat.

Recently bought a second hand Medion MDPPC250 for my son off ebay (£56!!) and tried copying TomTom onto an SD card but this hasn't worked - basically, the TomTom logo hasn't appeared as an icon you can activate and it isn't showing in 'file explorer'. The files are there but there isn't an exe file or similar which you can run. Any clues anybody???
