Hi I am trying to download Pocket GPS Safety Camera Database onto my Garmin c510 and the Garmin has crashed completely and will not restart at all. It is completely dead. Any ideas?

does the c510 have a reset button? have you tried it?

what do you mean by 'dead' - does it switch on and not load or just not do anything at all?

I have had a similar problem when I tried loading POIs- with mine the C510D came up afterwards with a display saying something like 'no detailed maps available...needed for unit to operate' (so not completely 'dead' but about as useful). I also got this result when I tried loading something else - in both cases I was trying to store data on the internal memory (drive E). With the POIs I was using the Beta version of POI Loader, 2.4. So I wonder if there's a problem either when putting data on the internal memory, or using the beta POILoader. I was able to get the unit replaced (I had only had it a week or so), so I am now not trying anything with the new one till I find out a bit more about the problems. Has anyone else had similar problems?
