What on earth is happening to my poor little GO 510!  I have recently installed the PocketGPSWorld speed cameras and sounds and also use the RDS receiver for traffic. When I have planned a route the RDS receiver egg timer runs as it normally does in the top right hand side of the screen, all good so far. BUT when you touch the far right of the screen to show the traffic updates the system freezes and then reboots 
I am running software version 6.522, so have the latest software. The other odd bit is that if I go through the menu and go to TomTom Traffic it works ok, no freezing! Also if there is no route planned and the RDS Receiver is connected you can touch the far right of the screen and it shows the correct screen, TomTom Traffic - No Route Planned 
It only freezes when a route is planned and when you try to access the traffic by touching the far right of the screen.
I'm hoping someone can help, or someone else has had the same issues  |

Hi all, am I right in guessing that no one else has had this problem? If not I will load the original backup and hope that it will revert to factory settings  |

I have been reinstalling my backups and have established that it only starts rebooting after installing the data.chk file number 7690 for software version 6.52 for my TomTom 510. This is the data.chk file for the sound for the speedcamera database.
Hope this helps people understand more about the problem. Does any one else have this problem when they install the sounds? |

The preferred method is to use the OGG files now. Once done, this will save you having to find a new CHK when TT issue an update.

Using the OGG files now, and all seems to be working again
It would appear that using the .chk file on some TomTom 510 using the latest software appears to cause an issue.
All good now though, the OGG files work no probs, thanks. :D |
