First, I link my TTG700 to my S-E K800i but the sound quality is very poor according to the people I'm talking to. I've tried an external mic but that's worse. Any ideas please.

Second, I've bought the latest UK safety cameras and downloaded a .cab file, I can't see any .OV2 files. I'm using TT Home which appears to show the new files in bold, I install them as directed but they remain bold and I can't see if my TTG700 has actually been updated. Please help.

Can't help with the first problem I'm afraid.
But for the second, are you talking about the PGPSWorld camera database? If so, I'd suggest downloading the ov2 version instead of the Home version.
Download the speed-zoned set of files (ov2 version), unzip the download, copy them all (ov2 and bmp files) into your map folder, and you are away.

You DO have to set up the warning distances and sounds for EACH type and speed, which takes a while (24 types), but you only have to do it once.
Every time the database is updated, you just paste the new ov2 files over the top of the old ones.

Finally, add some ogg format voice files (instructions Here) if you want spoken warnings rather than sounds.

Easy peasey. Smile

Oh, and if you weren't talking about the PGPSW database but the TomTom one, then I'd suggest dumping it and starting again with the ones from here (better, more regularily updated and more configurable for distance and alerts).
