SDcards for the N40i

will a 1 or 2 GB sd card work Ok in the N40i unit from Navman?
I ask being Navman seem to sell only 512mb sd cards.

Hi Nige,

In a Dutch forum I read that someone successfully uses a "SanDisk Extreme III 2.0 GB" SD Card, so I guess the answer is yes, although it possibly may depend on the brand and speed of the card you want to use.

Navman do not support large format cards.
Most of us Navman users, use 1GB or 2GB cards. Stressing that they are to have very high read, wright, speeds. Ie. 133 X.
