Was on holiday by the ring of Kerry in the summer and absolutely every road was covered.
Finding destinations in destinator sometimes isnt easy because of the place naming used and the lack of post codes used in the UK. Some of the routing was a little odd at times but overall served well.
Much better than TeleAtlas based products which still don't cover other than the major roads and Ireland is a country of small roads! |

Hi there,
From what I can see, I reckon Northern Ireland is fairly well covered - maybe over 90% if not maybe even 100%
My brother-in-law lives near Dungannon and his road is covered. This road is out in the countryside and was previously not covered. The new maps are superb

Destinator 6 actually has FULL coverage of both Northern Ireland and Ireland. It is also the first map form Navteq that actually uses house numbers in Ireland. They are definately the best available currently. I beleive some products are now offering later, Q2 2006 maps which would be even better but I'm not sure what these are. Destinator is more than good enough though. |
