Hi all, Thanks for reading. I have been using my Jam for years until it flew out of my pocket into an on coming car! I bought the upgrade. Fantastic peice of kit by far exceeds the jam by such along way. BUT having problems with the TomTom and GPSlim 236. I am not able to connect them! I never had a problem before, anyone else had similar problems? I have tried virtually everything....different Com ports, outgoing and incoming....even tried to change the registry at one point! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1053924&mode=threaded#post1053924

I am at my wits end. I just want tomtom to work on my qtek S200! PLease Help......

you shouldn't need the gps control pannel to use the gps its only needed if you wish to use 2 gps application at the same time.

will the gps pair and get a fix. ie when serching for the gps does the jamin find it, does the gps work with another pda

you need to pair the gps to the pda then set an outgoing com port try com 6 or com 7, then open tomtom and select other bluetooth reciever and then select 6he same comport you selected earlier and then give it sconds or so ahnd the black and white disc should start spinning
