286 locked again, and cant unlock this time.

I had my Mio 268 unlocked and had TT5 running fine apart from voices then for no apparent reason the thing locked up, the only thing i could do was to hard reset the unit.
After the hard reset the tt5 was gone (i new that would happen) so no problem, but miomap could not find any map for itself to work, so i reinstalled miomap V2 and lucky enough the navigation software was working again (miomap) problem now is, i cannot unlock it again, yes for some reason it is locked again, after doing the unlock i cannot get the first icon in "contacts" to become available, i know i am doing the unlock correctly but unit will not unlock.
Any help guys.
