Hello. Could anybody tell me if there is an download add-on to enable the Nav 6 pda software to be able to verbally mention road names not just turn left or right?

Hi chajun,

The only TomTom product that currently has Text-to-Speech (TTS) is the GO 910. The 910’s TTS is licensed from a company called Loquendo.

The fact that the GO 910 is the only TomTom product with TTS is probably more to do with licensing rather than technical reasons.

Unfortunately there is no add-on to allow the TomTom Navigator 6 software to use TTS.
