HP's packaged GlobalSat 308 vs Fortuna's Clip-on for my ipaq

I am in the US

I am not sure which of these to purchase, mainly because I have no experience with attaching these hardware modules to different software applications, nor am I familiar with the software that comes with them.

Which is the best purchase, i have been reccomended to get the fortuna clip-on but I know nothing about the software that comes with it (if any, i think it doesnt come with software) I also dont know much about the software that HP is going to give me either. I do know that the european version of the HP package comes with a 128mb SD card that auto-installs a map of ireland and UK. I am not sure why they dont have anything like this in the US version, but I can't find info on the software that comes with either one.
