medion 96800 and tomtom 6

hi all, earlier this year NIALLF posted instructions on how to convert a Medion 96800 to be able to run Tomtom navigator 5. I followed his instructions and it worked brilliantly. I've been using it here in Australia since I emmigrated in June. I've noticed several post referring to TT6. Is it possible to make this run on the medion? are the maps compatible? is there any advantage over TT5?
