Hi Guys, Have just got TTN 6 (been using TTN5 for ages). I can't find an option to force landscape! My phone is setup portrate as thats the easiest way to use it, but i have a landscape cradle for tomtom. so i have to click the rotate screen icon three times go get it landscape the right way up (i have an O2 XDA Exec) before i open tomtom. if i turn the phone off and on then it reverts to portrate!
Basicall yis there a way to force TTN6 to landscape? |

I don't belive so as it appears ( from other comments ) to use the built-in WM5 orientation switching. You could use the icon at the bottom right of the XDA Exec screen to force it into landscape mode before running TT6 but the XDA will revert to the correct orientation for the screen position on power-up.
One question. Why do you run TT in landscape? I much prefer portrait as it lets you see further along your route. |

I was hoping to avoid having to change the screen every time i wanted to go into tomtom, like you could in 5. oh well, another little annoyance in tomtom.
I have a landscape vent mount for my car, so short of shelling out more money for this "upgrade" i have no choice.
a little off topic, but since i put ttn6 on my xda i have intermittent lockups whilst using tomtom, never happened in 5. Infact my phone has never locked up before, but now does it once a day only whilst using tomtom.
also almost all of the map faults that were in ttn5 are still in ttn6  so basically i have not gained anything through this "upgrade"
definatelly not happy with ttn6. |
