Hi can any of you bright sparks point me in the right direction to get the London Congestion Charge zone loaded onto my MIO 710c.

Thanks Twisted Evil

Hi all.

I don't think this file format will work on the C710.
I may be wrong.

Hi Lost_Property.

That's no problem.
It's just that importing your own POI's into the Mio C710 has always been a problem.
It was supposed to be sorted with v3.2 software update to make it more user friendly, but it wasn't.

In the past I have used POI edit and IGO_POI to get tomtom POI files, plus others, in to a format readable by the C710. The accuracy of the POI data is questionable, plus loading duplicates can confuse whilst driving - especially where a user POI coinsides/contradicts with one already set within the MioMap.

Sad, but I load the file in to Google earth first, check POIs in my local area and then based on this decide to include/reject the whole file.

Tried to look at editting the MioMap file, using SQLite ,recommended by sal, but can only work on user POIs not the embedded database.

Just a thought - even if you managed to load the TomTom POI data - you would still require a POI warning capability to alert the driver to the situation that you were approaching the zone. TheMioMap does have a visual warning - on the itinery pages but not on the cockpit/map.

Another wish list item for Mio or the hackers!!

That's correct - the embedded POI's are inside the country maps and you can't get at them.
