Sorry, I didn't quite know where to look for this, but is it possible to have the i3 set to a state and city automatically so one wouldn't have to put it in time after time?

Welcome to the forum,

i'm afraid not for this to be available would require modifications to the firmware by garmin. A while back some forum members contacted garmin requesting this to be a user selectable item on the preferences and from memory the garmin reply was that it was not on their list of future modifications nor likely to be.

Suggest you contact garmin support the more that ask may influence their future firmware updates Exclamation
