Folks
I just bought the Roue 66 Mobile for my Verizon Motorola Q, and though the Route 66 site mentions compatibility, I have not come across any other reviews/users of the software using the Q or another CDMA phone. Cannot even activate the software since activation needs an IMEI number which only belongs to the GSM World, funny ! Was wondering if there are any of you using the s/w with a US CDMA phone.

You probably will want to return Route 66 and get TomTom instead.

Tom Tom is not available for Windows Mobile 5 smartphone, only other s/w there is is Copilot Live(whose maps are very vanilla on the smartphone version). Its funny, these Route 66 guys have a big picture of Motorola Q on their site under supported devices. Motorola Q is only a CDMA device currently and funnily thier activation is still tied to GSM only. I saw some ppl who were account managers with Route 66 on this forum, can anyone help me out here or maybe point me to a contact for a US Account Manager. I hate needing to call Amsterdam every time i need support, and e mail responses are slow.

Ah, right. TomTom decided not to sell TomTom Mobile in the US market because "there is no demand". It does work, though... You can even download the program fromt he TomTom site. All you need is to purchase maps.
