Reading a lot of the forums relating to the i3, there seems to be a lot of people sticking with firmware version 2.70. Is there a reason for this like the recent versions playing up? Thanks.

2.70 (and some would argue 2.82beta) firmware represented the version with some added value (I seem to recall there being some change to postcode usage), and the most stable and performant operation of the i3.

2.90, 3.00 and 3.10 all seem to have stability issues and some performance issues.

3.20 has seemed fine to me, in navigation mode - which I'm quite happy with. In map mode, it seems quite flakey.

a lot of users and myself ,have found version v2.7 to be the most stable and adequate firmware todate....i've tried all the rest ,including v3.2 and have had problems so until garmin come out with a better version i'm staying where i am....by the way have a read of the posts concerning firmwares and you can make your own decision...
