No WM2003 SE upgrade for current iPAQ's

So Windows Mobile 2003 SE will not be made available to existing iPAQ's due to ROM limitations and display screens amongst other things.

Ahh well, I don't really need landscape view.

you can always get landscape view through NYDITOT or Jimmy Landscape. I even had TomTom run on (pseudo) VGA a while back...

We had some discussions recently on this in the forum, and I found the pro/contra arguments very interesting

contra: When you drive you want to see more of the road that's ahead > Portrait view

pro: your eyes are arranged horizontally > landscape view...
