| i got hold of a brand new in box tomtom 510, i created a backup on tomtom home on my pc of the new 510. then deleted all info on my 500, then instled the 510 data onto my 500. WORKED LIKE A CHARM! all i had to do was register the new map using the codes in the box. handed the 510 to my mate, he has his new tomtom i have the new maps and os. |

you are violating the licence agreement (software is only permitted to be used on one device)

| Not a very clever thing to do as you have used up an activation that is not rightfully yours (this is theft, unless you told your mate - which I doubt), bragging about this is even worse - please refrain from posting such information in future - Mike |
