Hi Rippa,

I do not know anything about the icn 750. What I know is that my C510, that is about the same device as the C710, just works great. I have nothing to complain about.
Good luck with your purchase.

Things made me decide on the c710 aas opposed to the navman.

Size. The mio is a very neat unit, you can easily carry it around in your pocket. Never established if the navman is fully portable.

Functonality. It has everything I wanted, including maps of Euro and TMC. Again the TMC is neat on the mio as it is integrated (thoug you still need an aerial at least you don't have to plug in an extra bit of kit plus the aerial).

Price. The mio is much cheaper than the navman unit. I couldn't justify spending the extra cash on an extra .5 on the screen.

They picture POI type thing the navman has is a interesting but a toy really.

If all you want is something to get you from a to b, you should consider the c510 which is virtually the same as the c710 without TMC and £100 cheaper.

The mio hasn't got me lost yet, including 4 days driving round Germany.

Hi Rippa.

I used to run a Navman and I ain't going back!
Don't get me started with the list of software bugs on that thing. Evil or Very Mad
Don't know what their later models are like but the 520 was a disaster.
Given that I've also had a TT910 and a Garmin nuvi 360, the Mio C710 blows them all out of the water. (IMHO). :D
