super newb: which pda+ bluetooth gps reciever to get?

I"m very new ..

I'm planning to get a pda but i'm trying to get a bluetooth gps reciever tooo

so far it's the dell x51v cause it has a WIFI and bluetooth and skype capable.. and fast processor

I want to be able to use gps in the car and when i travel, like walk around kinda of thing.

so which one should i get?

i share a car with someone and the other person also have a Palm T2 with blue tooth capable.. so the gps reciever must be able to work with both..

which software should i use for a "sat Nav" feel?

I don't travel much but when i do i would like to have all the maps. and an easy to use interface .
