Details are on the tomtom site, under plus services. You basically need to create a bluetooth link to your phone, and activate GPRS.
You should have a menu item(on my 700 it's the third menu page) called Tom Tom Weather. If you are connected to GPRS and click on it you will get further options allowing you to select the location you want. If you are not connected, you will get different options allowing you to set up your connection. With my 700, I only get icons and writing. With the 910, you get a voice weather report. I'm not sure about the other models. |

it's a free service. If you have never filled in your user account, you will get only a 1 day forecast. When connected with your PLUS username, you will get 5 day forecast _________________ GO1005

you have a username on the TT site. That same user name you need to fill in on your ONE.
Tap the screen and select Preferences.
(If you don't have 7 pref screens, goto Preferences screen 3 of 3 and select 'Show ALL menu options')
Then go to screen 6 of 7 and select 'Edit TomTom PLUS account'.
Fill in TT user account login and password. _________________ GO1005

I found the same issue with my 700! Then I read this thread!
HOWEVER..............
Just upgraded (again) to 6.15. Now when I'm connected to the PC, using Home and the on screen GO I can see a 5 day forecast, but when I disconnect from the PC and pair with the mobile, I'm only getting a 1 day view??
Anyone got any ideas here....

Orange PAYG has GPRS access, as an "Extra" should be reasonable price if all you want is occasional weather. It was costing me £16 a month for traffic on 15 min updates. |
