Map Updates?

Hi all, new to the forum and pretty inexperienced so just a couple of very basic questions i would appreciate help with:


1.
I've had my Navman iCN610 for about 18 months now and around where i live there are lots of newish roads & estates. These roads aren't listed on my navman. How do i get these roads included??

Is there a simple update i can dowload (i've installed what i can from navman website but it doesnt help) OR do i have to buy the map update @£99 from navman??

2. If i do have to buy this update, is there a cheaper place to buy it from than the navman website.

finally,

3. I see a 2006 version of software for navman units mentioned in the forums, is it worth waiting for this to be released before purchasing and buy the whole lot as this has extra features like 7 digit postcode search. am i correct in believing this??
