4gb card with tomtom go ?

I have both the Western Europe maps and the USA maps activated on my tomtom go, both on seperate SD cards. if i purchase a 4GB SD card can i copy them both onto the one card ? and just select different maps when needed ?

If so which files do i copy over ?

You may have to build yourself a new mnu file and add the change map icon but i am not to sure.
Be a bit more spiffic as to what go you are putting it on

which go is it please older gos may have trouble with such a large sd card so it might be worth checking you go will read a 4gb card

4GB is the biggest card the the earlier GO will recognise. Otherwise it should work. Copy one card across complete, then copy the other map. Don't copy both cards you may end up with two system files!

Switch maps (on the v5.4 software) Prefs/Manage Maps/Switch Map...

Its the tomtom Go unit.
Both mas of the USA and European maos are the version 6.5 ones, ive tried copying ALL the files over from the European one and just the folder from the US one, when i turn the tomtom on it shows the startup logo and then turns itself off!
any ideas ?
